Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
